    Mark Wroblewski

    Managing Director / Proprietor

    As Managing Director of Taylor Rail Australia since 2002, Mark has taken a ‘hands-on’ role working in close liaison with his project managers to ensure full compliance with all contract requirements on each project. Mark’s ability to apply construction, design and performance management knowledge gained from over 30 years of industry experience coupled with a supportive and decisive leadership style, enables him to consistently demonstrate his practical engineering skills and ability to work cooperatively in partnership with client representatives and community groups to realise win-win outcomes for all parties involved

    Steve Olsen

    Operations Manager

    Steve has over 30 years’ experience in management of rail projects. Since joining Taylor Rail Australia in 2011, Steve has been heavily involved in developing a sub-contractor base, managing track crews and working with all stakeholders to achieve fully detailed scopes. Steve’s career knowledge along with more recent major projects undertaken with Taylor Rail Australia provides him with the experience and approach to facilitate the success of every project in which he is involved.

    Geoff Cairns

    Manager – Government Sector

    As an Engineer Geoff has an extensive track record in the successful delivery of major & minor rail projects gained from over 10yrs experience in the rail industry, participating in key roles from concept through to final commissioning and handover. Geoff has substantial experience in project design & delivery of junction remodelling and yard upgrades, crossover and turnout renewals & refurbishments, track reconstruction & track reconditioning, ballast cleaning, bridge re-transoming, rerailing, resleepering, CWR & general track maintenance

    Craig McKenna

    Manager – Resurfacing

    Craig has over 30 years’ experience in the rail industry, starting as a trackworker. Since commencing with Taylor Rail Australia in 2011, Craig has been heavily involved in coordinating trackwork projects on site, as well as successfully managing a number of key projects on behalf of the company. Craig’s previous experience coupled with major projects undertaken with RailCorp provides him with the experience and approach to facilitate the success of all works in which he is involved.

    Michael Heesch

    Manager – Inspections & Projects

    Michael has been with Taylor Rail Australia since 2010, working over a varied array of projects. He is methodical and can think on his feet and demonstrates an ability to be able to provide clear detailed planning and leadership with client cost quality and scheduling kept in focus. His experience enables Michael to compile successful tender submissions and coordinate personnel resources across Australia as well as managing multiple work fronts and staff.

    Karl Davy

    WHSE & Compliance Manager

    Karl has a strong focus on facilitating business sustainability; adding value to the company by focussing and interfacing corporate responsibility, risk factors and legislation. He has worked in the rail industry since 2009 gaining experience and knowledge of track renewals and maintenance. Karl is very hands on and therefore able to assist when required in all aspects of the work in a safe and practical manner. Part of his responsibilities are to ensure Taylor Rail Australia is always compliant with WHS regulatory requirements and the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator requirements whilst maintaining client site specific protocol obligations.
