Rail Infrastructure Management (RIM) Extension

Taylor Rail Australia has secured a further extension to its long-standing contracts with logistics giant Pacific National. The RIM (Rail Infrastructure Management) contract provides critical ongoing routine and corrective maintenance for a host of Pacific National sites both in New South Wales and Victoria.

The works include attending 24 sites in NSW and a further 8 in Victoria to ensure operations continue safely and reliably. Routine maintenance of rail infrastructure is an essential component of running operational yards where shunting and forming trains continues 24/7 for the many customers Pacific National services.

The works include extensive points maintenance, joint repairs and removal, sleeper and bearer replacement, continuity of plain track, maintenance of walkways and right of way and devegetation.

Taylor Rail looks forward to continuing the trusted relationship we have with Pacific National which commenced in 2003. Since then, we have completed hundreds of projects throughout Pacific National sites across Australia.
