Taylor Rail completed the Southern Highlands Overtaking Opportunities Project on the ARTC Network at Joppa North in September 2025. This project will enhance capacity by enabling bidirectional running on this section of the network, resulting in faster services.

In March 2025, our team completed track reconditioning enable works, which included the installation of four new culverts, three ULXs, and the re-instatement of 280m of dual track.

In September 2025, our team successfully completed the installation of two new 1:18.5 crossovers via dual lift loaders, and cranes, and the completion of some 87 aluminothermic rail welds throughout the weekend.

Key Achievements

• Successfully managed all lead-risk works, including comprehensive blood monitoring.
• Achieved zero safety incidents throughout the project.
• Delivered the track handback on schedule with no disruptions to the ARTC Network.
• Executed extensive earthworks and drainage infrastructure to a high standard.
• Self-performed all civil and rail works, ensuring strong cost efficiency, quality assurance, and full project control.
