Our new Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave Policy sets out parental leave entitlements for both the Primary Carer and the Primary Carer’s Partner
At Taylor Rail Australia (TRA) we recognise that our employees are our most valuable asset. We are committed to creating a work environment that encourages employee engagement, satisfaction and well-being. Our new Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave Policy sets out parental leave entitlements for both the Primary Carer and the Primary Carer’s Partner who are welcoming a child into their lives.

Where our staff nominate as Primary Carers, TRA commits to providing maternity, paternity or adoption leave paid at 100% of base salary/ordinary time earnings plus super for a continuous period of 14 weeks. Where its staff nominate in a Partner role, TRA commits to provide maternity, paternity or adoption leave paid at 100% of base salary/ordinary time earnings plus super for a continuous period of 3 weeks.
A TRA staff member is eligible to receive paid maternity, paternity or adoption leave, as applicable, under this policy only after having met the qualifying period of having, at the time of the birth or adoption, been employed for at least 12 months in paid continuous full time or part time permanent employment with TRA.
