Taylor Rail Australia announced as Preferred on Inland Rail, Parkes to Narromine

The Fastrak JV is pleased to announce that it has been selected by INLink as its preferred specialist rail contractor to INLink for the Parkes to Narromine section of the Inland Rail program.
Fastrak is a joint venture between Taylor Rail Australia Pty Ltd and Fluor Rail Services Pty Ltd combining local presence with global reach in the maintenance and construction of rail infrastructure. Taylor Rail and Fluor have worked with each other for more than fifteen years on the east coast of Australia and Fastrak creates an exciting new self-perform solution to the needs of the Australian rail infrastructure sector.

INLink, a joint venture with BMD Constructions and Fulton Hogan, is ARTC’s preferred construction contractor for the Parkes to Narromine section of Inland Rail ahead of the contract signing.
Fastrak will be working with INLink closely in the coming months to prepare for the start of construction. This will include supporting INLink with identifying opportunities for regional companies and local businesses.

The Parkes to Narromine section of Inland Rail includes 98km of brownfield upgrading of track, track formation and culverts within the existing rail corridor including three new passing loops. It also includes a 5.3 km green field rail connection between Inland Rail and the Broken Hill line to the west of Parkes (the Parkes North West Connection).
